SOUS CHEF - fine dining - £27,000 -
A superb opportunity to work within a small country house hotel producing first class cuisine. There is a very talented Head Chef who has just taken over the role and he is now looking to build his team.
Working within a brigade of 6 chefs you will be catering for the award winning restaurant and their small conference and banqueting department.
The fine dining restaurant seats up to 30 covers and because of this a great deal of care and attention can be given to the preparation and presentation of this modern British menu.
Everything is made in house including bread, jams and chutneys using the finest, fresh produce. Where possible they source their ingredients locally and the menus changes with regularly to keep it seasonal.
The successful candidate will be an integral part of the team and will be involved in all aspects of the day to day running of the kitchen. This will include menu design, stock control, ordering, staff training and development and all health, hygiene and safety procedures.
