SOUS CHEF - £32,000 - superb, award winning hotel -
A stunning country house hotel with an award winning restaurant, lounge bar and extensive conference and banqueting facilities. It is part of a small expanding group of first class hotels so there are great opportunities for career progression.
The hotel has recently appointed a new Head Chef and he is looking for a talented Sous Chef to assist him with the day to day running of the kitchen. With a brigade of 10 chefs they prepare modern European cuisine and everything is made in house using fresh, seasonal produce.
Your role will involve managing, training and motivating your team to get the best out of them, menu design, costing, stock control, ordering and ensuring all health, hygiene and safety procedures are in place and being adhered to.
The ideal candidate will have had previous experience within a similar top quality hotel and preferably worked within a rosette awarded restaurant kitchen. You will also have held a senior management position and be focused and driven as they look to take the food to the next level.
