A fresh food village pub in Northamptonshire is recruiting for a Sous Chef position
A privately owned pub which has built a reputation for offering good quality, fresh food is seeking a Sous Chef to work within the team of four chefs in the kitchen. The pub focuses on creating fresh dishes all prepared from scratch onsite with menus that change regularly allowing them to closely follow the seasons with a combination of pub classics and more modern dishes all served within a relaxed atmosphere. In this role of Sous Chef you will be second in command of the kitchen allowing you an input on the menus and the opportunity to run the department on the Head Chefs days off.
A Sous Chef who has a similar background working in fresh food pubs where you gained strong all round cooking skills is needed for this role. The ability to work well within a small team of chefs in a busy kitchen including running service when required is essential.
