A talented Sous Chef is required to join the kitchen team of a luxury hotel in Cumbria
Boasting two AA Rosettes in the fine dining restaurant this hotel is seeking a Sous Chef who can work closely with the Head Chef to ensure that the excellent dining reputation it has built is maintained at all times. The hotel takes advantage of the fantastic produce and suppliers in the region to create seasonal, modern British dishes in the two AA Rosette restaurant alongside a bar menu that offers classic dishes and light bites. The hotel also offers private dining and hosts functions including exclusive use events with some corporate events also taking place at the property. As Sous Chef you will be involved in all of the kitchen decision making including the menu planning and development, recruitment and training of the brigade.
All Sous Chefs applying for this role must have a background working in similar properties with a minimum of two AA Rosettes where you proved yourself capable of running the kitchen when required and developed your kitchen management knowledge.
