A private members club located in Oxfordshire is recruiting for an experienced Sous Chef
This is a great opportunity for a Sous Chef to work within a kitchen of a private members club that can offer you a great work balance with mixture of shifts from 7am-3pm, 8am-4pm and 11am-9pm. The kitchen has a team of seven chefs preparing high quality, fresh food with a focus on classic British dining brought up to date with modern twists and presentation styles. There is a bar menu and restaurant menu on offer to the members whilst the club also hosts functions for up to 90 covers. As Sous Chef you will work closely with the Head Chef to ensure that the kitchen runs smoothly at all times including running the kitchen to their high standards in their absence and assisting with kitchen admin, staff training and controlling departmental costs.
All chefs applying for this role should have worked to at least Sous Chef level in their most recent position within a high quality property where all dishes were made onsite from fresh ingredients. The ability to help ensure that the day to day running of the kitchen runs smoothly at all times is essential.
