A Sous Chef position is available at a high quality, fresh food pub in Buckinghamshire
A high volume, fresh food pub which has built a strong reputation for high quality dining is seeking a Sous Chef to work closely with the Head Chef in the kitchen including helping with the management of the other four chefs. The pub offers seasonal menus that focus on using the best British produce as well as having a daily changing specials board to bring exciting new dishes to the customers. In this role of Sous Chef you will be serving up to 300 covers for lunch on the busiest weekends followed by a further 100 covers for dinner. As a result this role will require you to be organised in the kitchen and always fully prepared for service times whilst ensuring that the rest of the team is too.
A Sous Chef who has a background working in similar fresh food pubs where you were cooking to high standards for large numbers of covers would be ideal for this role. A chef seeking a good opportunity to progress their career within a pub company that can offer real job development and training will go far in this position.
