A multi-outlet hotel located in Rutland is recruiting for a strong Sous Chef
An upmarket hotel that has a busy food and beverage department is seeking a Sous Chef to join the team of six chefs working in the kitchen. The property is a popular function, conference and wedding venue used by both corporate and leisure guests for events. The restaurant at the property delivers a combination of modern and traditional dishes for 60 covers. As Sous Chef you will be expected to be capable of working across the kitchen, maintaining the high standards that have been put in place by the Head Chef as well as running the department when required to do so. At the same time you will receive training on the implementation of hygiene regulations, health and safety and kitchen admin in order to build your knowledge of kitchen management.
This position needs a competent Sous Chef who has already gained experience at this level in the kitchen of a hotel operation with a busy banqueting department. A team player who is also capable of organising a team when required would be ideal.
