A North Yorkshire fresh food pub with rooms is recruiting for a strong Sous Chef
The Head Chef of a well established pub is recruiting for a Sous Chef to work as their second in command and join the team of five chefs working in the kitchen. The pub prepares all dishes from scratch onsite with menus featuring pub favourites as well as modern 'a la carte’ dishes with menus changing with the seasons but there is also a regularly changing specials board and monthly theme nights. This is a busy pub where the successful Sous Chef will be expected to be a strong member of the kitchen team with the ability to work across all sections in the kitchen whilst also covering for the Head Chef on their days off.
The role requires an experienced Sous Chef who has been working at this level in a high quality, fresh food kitchen where you were regularly serving large numbers of covers. A talented chef who is also capable of running a busy kitchen and managing a small team is needed for this position.
