A corporate led, busy hotel located in Lancashire is recruiting for a Sous Chef to join the kitchen
The Head Chef of a popular, 100 bedroom hotel that is busy with corporate guests is seeking a Sous Chef to join the kitchen which has a team of eight chefs. This would be an ideal first Sous Chef role as you will be fully focused on cooking and preparation the majority of the time as well as supervising the junior members of the team as there is a Kitchen Manager who takes care of all kitchen admin leaving the senior chefs to be fully immersed in the team. The restaurant offers a simple frill focused menu which is semi-branded and is popular with guests, midweek there are also a lot of buffet lunches to prepare.
A Senior Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef looking for the next step in their career into a Sous Chef position would be ideal for this role. A chef who has a background working in hotels where you were cooking for large numbers daily would be ideal.
