A South Yorkshire three star hotel is seeking a Sous Chef to support the Head Chef in the kitchen
A Sous Chef role is available at a hotel that offers its customers pub style dining with a menu that features classic pub dishes as well as more modern 'a la carte’ dishes. The property is also a popular location for functions including weddings with the capacity to host events for up to 200 covers in the separate banqueting venue. This Sous Chef role will require you to work in both kitchens assisting with the day to day management of the departments whilst remaining hands on and working in the team of eight chefs to ensure that the standard of cooking the hotel has become known for is always maintained.
A Sous Chef who already has experience at a senior level working in hotel kitchens where you were catering for restaurant diners and functions is required to take on this role. A strong chef who is also a capable team leader with the capacity to direct others in the kitchen whilst catering for large numbers of covers would be ideal.
