Solutions Architect

Our client has a newly created vacancy for a Solution Architect to join the team. The key purpose of the role is to translate business and IT requirements into architecture specifications and models.

The role:

  • Delivering practical and maintainable technology based solutions to complex technical problems in line with business Principles

  • Providing overarching solution architecture/technical requirements for service tenders

  • Supporting methodologies and processes for solution architecture approach

  • Constructing architecture diagrams and data models

    This is an ideal role for an individual who is looking to progress to the next step of the career ladder. The successful candidate will ideally meet QCF level 6 of the Qualification Credit Framework (QCF) which is equivalent to a degree.

    Requirements:

  • Expertise across a range of technologies including application design, integration technologies, service-orientated architecture, web development, mobile and cloud technologies

  • Experience of designing and implementing high-performance, high volume and high availability solutions

  • Ability to work under pressure with a full understanding of costs, timescales and risks involved

  • Understanding of industry standard development lifecycles and project management disciplines
