Solutions Architect - Southampton - Permanent
We're currently recruiting for a Senior Solutions Architect on a permanent basis to join a forwarding thinking, digital data driven organisation in Southampton. We're looking for a Senior Solutions Architect to provide architectural leadership for the organisations Geospatial Production services.
This role offers you the opportunity to be part of a world leading organisation in digital data, with real expertise in the creation, management and exploitation of geospatial data. The successful candidate will have architectural and technical leadership experience and be responsible for setting the architectural vision, working with the wider team to realise core goals.
Whether you're building strong relationships with stakeholders or making sure that solutions are aligned to business and technical strategies, you'll be working to deliver real and demonstrable value to the business.
The Solutions Architect will have experience working in a similar technical role within large/ complex business environments, have in-depth knowledge of delivering cloud-native digital services and be able to demonstrate experience defining and delivering enterprise-level Geospatial solutions.
As you'd expect strong communication skills are essential for this role. You'll work as part of the technical leadership team, motivating and advising the wider architecture function, influencing key business and technical stakeholders and provide leadership to technical teams (e.g. solution architects, software engineers, technical experts) in an Agile environment.
