Solution Support Team Leader - London - Great Company!

Job purpose

My client looking for an IT support professional to lead a Solution Support Team in a small, rapidly growing tech company catering to clients in a vast array of industries (Finance, Insurance, Legal, Pharma and Retail). The role focuses on customer service and client support delivery, reporting in to the Technical Director. Looking for a dynamic individual who possesses great problem-solving skills and is able manage a small team effectively.

My client’s support service provides end-to-end "Solution Support" for their implementations whereby they host, administer and support solutions on behalf of the client. They are offering the right candidate the opportunity to join this fast-growing team.

Duties to include:

  • Build strong relationships with clients and partners
  • Provide excellent client support
  • Provide technical product evaluation and strategic direction for internal and external clients
  • Work collaboratively to identify ways to innovate and improve delivery and processes
  • Support the Technical and Sales Directors in analysis and creation of key deliverables i.e. RFPs,

RFIs, Security Questionnaires, Demos, POCs, Integration Solutions

  • Manage and develop existing support team staff and resources

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (2:2 or above)
  • ITIL certification (or similar) is advantageous Personal skills required:
  • Proactive and self-starter - works well independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and project management skill set
  • Excellent time management and decision-making skills
  • "Can-Do" approach to a wide and rapidly changing environment
  • Technical / professional skills required:
  • Previous experience in IT or Support roles - minimum of 3 years (preferable)
  • Analytical mind with excellent data collection and analysis skills
  • Ability to interpret functional matters into technical concepts and outcomes and vice versa
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Experience in the below information management software is advantageous:

o iManageWork / RecordsManager
o Microfocus Content Manager/HPERecords Manager / Microfocus Control Point/IDOL

  • Experience in the below technologies is advantageous:

o Microsoft Azure

o MicrosoftWindowsServer2008,2012,2016
o Active Directory & Group Policy
o Powershell Scripting
o MS Office 365 (Exchange and SharePoint Online) o SQL Server and T-SQL

  • Must be able to occasionally travel around the UK and Europe, as the work may require client site visits
