Opportunity for a Clinical Negligence Solicitor or a Solicitor who has dealt with difficult catastrophic cases to transfer to a niche area of law.

About the role

Our client is an award-winning, Essex based Top Tier law firm. They are looking to recruit a Solicitor to develop into a "second in command" / Deputy working with the Senior Associate. The role provides the opportunity for a Personal Injury Solicitor / Clinical Negligence Solicitor to transfer into a niche legal area.

Abuse Solicitor Core Duties & Responsibilities Include:

  • You will be handling Multi-Track claims valued up to £500,000
  • Work on complex and sensitive caseloads for a variety of clients on multi-track child sexual abuse claims.
  • The work will include dealing with claims relating to child sexual exploitation as well as historical and non-historical physical and sexual abuse claims.
  • Both pre-litigation and litigated, covering a range of issues (consideration and assessment of liability, issues of limitation, quantum valuations and assessing causation).
