Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Chartered Legal Executive to join a New Homes Department based in Exeter. The successful candidate will need to be able to deal with all aspects of New Homes conveyancing transactions including freehold & leasehold cases, mortgages and Help to Buy funded transactions. Candidates should be able to manage their own caseload with minimal supervision however all applications will be considered. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work well within a team, be approachable and have a friendly manner when dealing with the clients and developers alike. The ability to work well under pressure and have good organisational skills are essential. Good IT skills are also required. Knowledge of using a Case Management System is an advantage.
Four Trainee Solicitors for qualification. This position would suit recent graduates or possibly someone already working within a legal practice who needs to undertake the legal training segment to qualify as a solicitor into either Family or Residential Property. The successful candidates will want to be part of a growing, friendly and dynamic team who work closely together and share the same ethos. They will also be enthusiastic about the development of the firm’s business in relation to client relationships and promoting new business ideas. They will have excellent IT skills, excellent organisational skills, high attention to detail and accuracy and thrive when working under pressure. They will also possess strong communication and client face to face skills allowing you to inspire confidence with clients and colleagues across the firm.
Private Client Solicitor/Legal Executive/Paralegal to work in a Private Client Team based in either Exeter, Newton Abbot or Cullompton. The successful candidate will be joining our busy and experienced Private Client Team. You will be dealing with all aspects of private client work including the preparation of Wills, administration of estates and Trusts and Powers of Attorney. We operate with the assistance of a progressive case management system. If you do not already hold a STEP qualification then we would support you in the relevant studies to achieve this standard. All members of our Team take an enthusiastic interest in the department’s business development and we would wish you to actively participate in this role.
Commercial Property Solicitor to join a busy Commercial Property department based in Exeter. You will be assisting the senior partner and an associate on a wide range of commercial property transactions including leases, secured lending, landlord and tenant and buying and selling of freehold commercial properties and businesses. It is envisaged that you will gradually take on your own case load of varied work. We are seeking applications from qualified solicitors who have experience in dealing with all aspects of commercial property. Applicants will have a minimum of 1 years pqe and be looking for a new opportunity where they can further develop their skills and experience. Ideal candidates will be looking for a firm where they will gain variety of experience and are encouraged to develop their own case load in due course.
