Sofware Test Analyst / QA - Manchester

With recent massive investment and large growth and expansion ahead in 2018, the test team has a vacancy for an experienced QA/Tester.

You should be comfortable working closely with developers and the Test Lead on a variety of in-house software products.

Fantastic opportunity for an experienced software tester looking to progress.

Ideally a passion for IT and a real interest in the arena with some familiarity with coding and automated testing (you won’t be coding yourself, but should understand what you are testing).

Software tested will be developed in-house in MVC, ASP.NET, C# and SQL Server so if you’ve come from that environment, even better.

Your CV should have some flavour of Automated Testing on it (any package probably Selenium, Cucumber, FitNesse, QTP, Twist or similar), you'll probably be ISEB / ISTQB (but they’ll get you certified if not and it’s not a problem), ideally have a degree (again not essential), be into learning new things. Probably used JIRA and maybe BitBucket, NUnit, C#, Web API, SOA, Agile, Scrum, TFS, .Net Core, AWS, REACT etc. and all sorts of other funky software tools and frameworks.

LOCATION: City Centre Manchester, commutable from Cheshire, Staffordshire, Wilmslow, Hanford, Knutsford, Sale, Altrincham, Trafford, Salford, Ashton, Wigan, Rochdale, Lancashire, Salford, Salford Quays, Old Trafford, Altrincham, Stretford, Sale, Oldham, Bury, Warrington, Chorlton, Didsbury, Stockport, Bury, Oldham, Bolton, Ashton and more…

Salary: Negotiable. Likely to be in the 20-30k bracket but possibly more on experience. What do you need to make it worth the move?!!? Leading benefits package.
