The Progman Group, is one of Europe’s leading Building Information Modelling (BIM) software providers for the MEP (building services) industry and is strengthening its operations in the UK based subsidiary.
Progman Software UK Ltd is currently seeking a highly motivated, results-orientated individual to join our software pre and after sales team based in Manchester.
The ideal candidate will perform and meet the following criteria:
Duties, responsibilities and desirables:
Work as part of a team to take care of MagiCAD software sales in the UK in close cooperation with our organisation’s headquarters in Finland.
Assist with the development and expansion of customer accounts by actively prospecting via cold-calls, marketing lead follow-up, building on personal relationships, etc.
Work as part of a team to maintain a pipeline of sales activity to achieve the annual sales quota.
Plan, organise and participate (from a sales perspective) in webinars or in-house customer software demonstrations in cooperation with the technical sales representatives.
Participate in commercial events, such as tradeshows and conferences, both as a visitor and representative.
Be able to represent the MagiCAD brand in a professional manner to clients, prospects and partners.
Be able to plan and utilise time and resources wisely and strategically to efficiently increase sales and grow the MagiCAD software brand.
Be able to work both in the office and remotely with a strong sense of self-motivation and ultimately under little supervision.
Be energetic, flexible and when necessary be able to travel to visit customers.
Be able to take responsibility for own actions, keep to commitments, work longer when necessary to reach goals, complete tasks on time, respond promptly to customer needs, and demonstrate punctuality arriving to meetings / appointments on time.
To evolve and demonstrate a knowledge of the market, competition and proactively find ways to increase brand awareness.
The ideal candidate should also be able to demonstrate the following experience:
Minimum of 4 years successful sales experience with more being an advantage.
Experience in technical software sales will be very beneficial to this position.
Basic computer literacy: Competent in using Microsoft software products such as Windows and Office, Adobe Acrobat, web browsers and experience using a CRM software system being beneficial.
Previous experience in using a technical design software such as AutoCAD is highly appreciated.
Language skills: Fluent in written and verbal English (native or bilingual proficiency).
Educated to degree level: BA or BSc in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology, or a similarly related field is preferred.
