Reporting to the Licence Management Lead, you will play a key operational role in the Licence Management lifecycle, including identifying and setting up new software contracts, running audit and performance reports, and renewals or termination of contracts activity. Strong analytical skills are a must as you will be working with a number of Licence Management stakeholders within IT and across the business, to gather and interpret data so new opportunities can be identified, along with risks and mitigations.
Once new opportunities have been identified, you will work with our Procurement function and third party suppliers, overseeing the contract production. Throughout the contracts, you will be responsible for audit activity and recording of software contracts, entering all information on Licence Management databases and toolsets.
What we are looking for
We are seeking candidates with a deep understanding of software types, licensing models and deployment methods with strong analytical skills and the ability to produce reports.
Candidates should have good Software life-cycle knowledge, from purchasing to deployment and decommissioning and be able to identify and articulate compliance risks and issues.
Experience of working in a large scale, complex license/software asset estates is desirable as is sector experience.

This role is offered on the basis of an initial 6-month day rate contract with Swindon location preference, however, locality to our Worcester or Solihull office is also considered.
