We are looking for a Software Engineer to join their successful, stable, and growing team. This will initially be working from home.

Post covid you will go into the office once or twice a week - offices are based in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Borders, Aberdeen & Dundee.

£35-42K plus extensive benefits package

To be successful in this role:

You will be a confident Software Engineer and have ability with a combination of some of the following technologies:

  • Java
  • Spring
  • Hibernate
  • NodeJS
  • Angular
  • MongoDB
  • C# .NET
  • SQL
  • Python

Due to the highly secure nature of this work all applicants will be required to gain UK Security Clearance to at least SC level. You must have been resident in the UK for at least the last 5 years and cannot have been outside the UK for more than 28 days on any one occasion within this time.

Position Summary:

This Software Engineer role will see you work within the software development area of our clients Delivery Centre that delivers into a diverse of programmes of work for their private and public sector clients across the UK and Europe.

You will undertake development activities in TDD, BDD and Scrum or other Agile practices. You will be responsible for coding, building, testing and maintenance of software systems. Can be working from home.

Job role responsibilities will include:

  • Design and develop software in line with quality standards
  • Produce and execute unit tests
  • Identify and fix bugs in software and independently solve problems
  • Adhere to change control procedures and processes
