Software Engineer (Java, React) - Platform Team // £50,000 - £65,000 // Liverpool Street, London

Pre-IPO start-up, Algorithm focused, Polyglot environment, solving some of the most challenging and interesting problems around data.

You will be joining one of the fastest growing Fintech startups in London - already past the point of scrambling for funding and clients, as they’ve secured one of the highest series A funds and some of the top tier banks as clients.

This new Platform Team has emerged to flesh out new innovative ideas for the award-winning application. You will be involved in the design, build, streamline of infrastructure and cloud, through to packaging and deployment.

The next evolution for their award-winning analytics platform is to integrate latest orchestration tools like Kubernetes with Cloud containers, for which you will be key in the journey. The team have migrated towards a MySQL database, moving into Java microservices and house one of the best engineering environments in London.

As part of the Feature Team you will have the opportunity to:

• Own the build, deployment and release of your code straight through to production
• Influence the architectural direction both individually and within a team
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to encourage discussion on innovationScale the resilience, reliability and vision of the platform
• Drive best practice, whether it is advising on how best to migrate or guiding other users
• Build open-source tools within a team dedicated to experimentation
