Software Engineer - C++ / C#

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Software Engineer - C++ / C# based in Fareham, Hampshire to join a world leader in capacitive touch technology. They are bringing their market-leading knowledge to the broadest possible range of applications and customers and are now looking for a new software engineer to join their team, with a view to becoming their sensor tools expert.

They are looking to add a Software Engineer - C++ / C# to their Engineering team who will be heavily involved in delivering custom solutions which meet customers demanding sensing requirements. They are happy to provide training in some areas if you have enough of the core skills and the aptitude to learn. The role will require a creative approach to software GUI development, using high level programming languages and some algorithm development to create easy to use end-user tools and demo software.

The Software Engineer - C++ / C# will be in a varied role and some responsibilities will include:
*Creating software to support and demonstrate the capabilities of their bespoke touchscreen products
*Supporting the Java library used to create CAD drawings for the touch sensors
*Interacting closely with the customer, factory representatives and colleagues

Key skills and experience of the Software Engineer - C++ / C# job:
*Solid experience of C++/C#/VB coding
*Java experience
*Some experience of developing simple algorithmic routines
*Experience of creating end-user software tools
