Software Engineer - Audio electronics

We are looking for 2 Embedded Software Engineers, one with commercial experience and a recent Graduate Software Engineer to develop software for audio based consumer electronics. The Software Engineer position has a wide scope, you will work on areas such as embedded application software (Linux), networking code, display drivers. speech recognition, interfacing with mobile apps and cloud based services.

You will work in small project teams "owning" the software for individual products, ultimately seeing the fruits of your labour in high end shops. For those that enjoy travel (not essential), there are opportunities to travel to Asia when the initial batches go into production.

Software Engineer essential requirements

  • Strong C or C++
  • Familiar with compilers and debuggers

Software Engineer desirable requirements

  • Real time embedded software
  • Linux, GCC
  • Audio, music interest
  • Wireless communications (Bluetooth, WiFi etc)
  • Speech recognition
  • Real Time operating Systems
  • Device Drivers
  • Python (for testing)
  • JavaScript (interacting with cloud based services)
  • Confluence, Jira
  • Build Systems
  • Android or iOS


Position: Embedded Software Engineer - Audio

Location: London

Salary: £28-40k
