Software Development Team Lead with expert coding skills in at least one of the following; NodeJS, C++, Java, Python, Golang, Objective-C, PHP, HTML5, JavaScript/Typescript, WEBGL (with working knowledge of at least another two) and cross discipline development (graphical client, network layers, server instances, tools writing, front-end, back-end and mobile platforms etc) is highly sought by Intouch Games Ltd for a brand new position within our core technology team!

In this role, you will help design, write and maintain code across a variety of technologies, which make up our core tech framework and systems, including our web based game engine. You will gain an in-depth understanding of our systems and implementations external to the framework team (such as back-end systems, server systems, support tools and the eGaming industry as a whole).

Our current Core Tech team consists of a team of Framework Developers of varying levels of skills, expertise and experience so it's imperative that you have excellent Team Lead experience working with multi-skilled software developers from junior to senior level and have the ability to improve their workflow and efficiency in doing so and are able to effectively manage each developer on a 1-to-1 basis to help improve their skills and the incredible value they add to our business.

You will switch between tasks quickly and efficiently and often jump into new areas of development and existing code to modify and develop them to a tech spec, manage multiple tasks and write and maintain technical documentation to ensure our work is robust and scalable as we continue to grow as in International Software Company.?

Key skills we’re looking for…

  • Excellent coding skills in at least one of the following; JavaScript, TypeScript, NodeJS, Python, Golang, C++, Java, Objective-C, C# or WebGL)
  • 5+ years’ commercial experience in any software industry and experience with a wide range of skills and disciplines.
  • Experience writing and maintaining large scale systems.

Bonus points for…

  • Native mobile app experience (iOS, Android).
  • Experience leading medium to large sized teams of developers.
  • Games development experience.
  • Experience writing entire systems with little library support.
  • Experience with graphics rendering technologies (WebGL, OpenGL, Vulkan, Metal or DirectX).
