Here at Health-on-Line we’re looking for a Software Developer to join our team as a result of an internal promotion. We’re looking for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, and enjoys communicating with people across the business.
Our IT department currently consists of over 60 enthusiastic and talented individuals, who support, manage, develop and test our bespoke IT systems. What will I be doing as a Software Developer?
You will be developing key applications within the business, working in an agile development team.
The current technologies we are working with (and are looking for in our new Developer) are: C#, ASP.NET, Angular, WebAPI, SQL Server, SCRUM, TDD, continuous delivery, automated testing, unit testing frameworks, IOC and Git.
Any experience with or commercial exposure to the following would be an advantage: service oriented architecture (SOA), Azure, micro service architecture, TFS, and an ability to read and understand VB.Net.
The team typically work a 35 hour week Monday to Friday, usually 9am-5pm. The IT department enjoy regular team nights out and every year attend the summer and Christmas party. The team are often rewarded with prizes from the "spot reward cupboard" for going above and beyond.

When you start with us you’ll go into a 7 day training programme with our training team which is delivered in a fun and interactive classroom environment. Here you’ll meet other new starters and learn all there is to know about the company, private medical insurance (PMI) and our products. Once you’ve completed this you’ll receive ongoing support from your manager and team mates.
