Our client seeks a Developer to work within the R&D and software development teams to develop new LabVIEW based acquisition and control software.
As a LabVIEW Developer you will be responsible for the development of FPGA applications, maintaining existing software offerings, bug fixing, software documentation and gathering requirements for new projects.
Candidates will have a solid understanding of LabVIEW with at least 2 years’ experience developing data acquisition or hardware control applications. You will be comfortable developing software applications with Analog and Digital I/O using DAQmx drivers, writing 'Clean code’ and adhering to best practices and have the ability to analyse code and optimise for performance/memory efficiency.
Experience developing Imaging applications and FPGA applications is desirable, along with Actor Framework and version control using Git or any other version control system. Experience in a second language such as MATLAB, C/C++, Python is beneficial but not essential.
You will have a willingness to learn, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a small team, be self-motivated and able to manage own work-load and time and happy to be involved in different stages of the software lifecycle.
This role is commutable from Brighton, Eastbourne, Haywards Heath, Horsham, Redhill, Crawley, Royal Tunbridge Wells and Tonbridge.
