Salary: £40,000 - £50,000
Based at our client's office in a little business park out in the sticks near Melton Mowbray (LE14), they're offering a salary range of £40-£50k, with private healthcare. The position would be permanent and full time, Monday to Friday, 9-5.
A bit about the company:
They're a time and attendance and workforce management software company. They sell their products in the UK and Australia through a number of distributors, so their actual team is a small group of developers.
The job would primarily involve working on the web version of their desktop software. This has already been in development for some time, and they need to expand their workforce to ramp up the productivity - this is where you come in!
A bit about you:
- 2+ years' experience developing business applications for the web
- VB knowledge (desirable)
- Able to bring your own imagination and creativity to help them deliver the best products for their customers
- Happy working on solo projects and team efforts
They're a micro company. They currently have a team of four, looking to expand to five or six. If a big company is your thing, they're not for you.
They're in the countryside - you'd need a car to be able to get there, public transport just wouldn't cut it.
Those are the cons, here are the pros:
They're a micro company. Everyone is valued, appreciated, essential. Everyone has a voice and an opinion, and that matters to them.
They're profitable. They've been trading happily for 13 years and are looking forward to the next 13.
They're growing. They're in an exciting stage of expansion that will hopefully be the first of many.
They're able to reward. The right hire can expect to enjoy long-term rewards for the investment of their skills.
