The Company: A leading and highly successful diversified IT services group, software developer and Microsoft 'Gold Partner' accredited reseller, established 25 years.

The Role: An experienced B2B software sales manager is required to assume responsibility for key accounts and to help the firm realise it's next growth targets for 2022-23. Some significant new commercial developments (alliances) are about to give the business a significant new 'springboard' impetus which will open doors to new client sectors and serviceability (capacity).

The Ideal Candidate will therefore be an accomplished, experienced and highly motivated key account manager or Sales/BD professional with a proven track record of success in B2B software sales into large organisations. To be considered you must be comfortable presenting to senior executives and procurement panels and able to collaborate with customers in both the private and public sectors. The sales cycle can be relatively long (12 months perhaps) and the average order value in excess of £1m and so patience, tenacity, diplomacy and project management skills are all required in equal measure.

This is a potentially career-defining role for the right person, with a board opportunity awaiting the successful job-holder. The position will naturally require UK travel but can be mostly operated from home. Office attendance (Manchester) is likely to be necessary for meetings on 2-3 days per month. The remuneration package - with excellent bonuses and benefits - reflects the importance of the position to our client and is likely to potentially exceed £100k in value.
