Social Worker

An exciting opportunity to join the newly developed team "Supporting Lives Connecting Communities (SLCC)". You will be a qualified social worker with experience of working with adults and their carers as well as venerable or disadvantaged people. You will be able to work with adults of any age who have a learning or physical disability, frailty, cognitive impairment or dementia within a social work setting.

Working within a friendly social work team you will provide a range of timely information, support and advice around reablement personal to the individual and enable them to remain as independent and safe as possible. As a qualified social worker, you will also work with customers and their carers whose needs are very complex, to assist them with their plan of support.

As part of ACS and Suffolk County Council, you will be working closely with our colleagues from Home First, Independent Providers, Health, the Boroughs and Districts, the Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub, and a wide range of agencies such as those in the voluntary sector.
