Social Worker - Supervising S/W Fostering

Our client is currently recruiting for experienced Qualified Social Workers to join their specialist team who provide a key service in supervising and supporting foster carers. The contract will be for 3 months with the possibility of extension.
The successful candidate(s) will be responsible for:
• Supervising foster carers by make sure they fully understand the fostering task as well as the agencies policies and procedures
• Promoting the welfare of children placed with foster carers
• Completing assessments using the mainstream fostering assessments, combined family and friends and SGO assessment work
• Attending regulate meetings and reviews on behalf of the agency within the decision process
• Have a minimum of 6 months post qualifying experience working in children's Social Work teams
• Hold a relevant Social Work qualification
• Be HCPC registered, or be in process of registration
• Hold current DBS (preferably on upgrade service)
