This post offers an opportunity to work in an integrated Learning Disability Service (LDS). The service is based in Earlston and is within commuting distance from Edinburgh and the Lothians. It covers the whole of the Scottish Borders area.
The post involves day to day multi disciplinary working in a well established team of Social Care and Health Professionals. The team has been integrated since 2005. Practitioners from all professions are highly committed to providing the best possible outcomes for adults who have a learning disability and their informal and formal carers. The service has a track record of innovation and new ideas are actively promoted.
