Job Title: Social Media Specialist
Location: Birmingham
Salary: Up to £30,000 DOE

We are seeking a passionate, creative, and detail-oriented Junior Social Media Specialist to join a leading retailer and their marketing team to help amplify their brand across social media platforms.

This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their skills in social media management, content creation, and digital marketing!

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and implementation of social media strategies
• Create, schedule, and publish content across platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok).
• Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activity, and audience preferences
• Support the creation of graphics, videos, and other multimedia content
• Help maintain a consistent brand voice and aesthetic across all platforms.
• Ensure brand and messaging is consistent across social media, email marketing, blogs and the website.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 1+ years of experience with social media platforms
• Basic knowledge of social media tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social) and familiarity with Canva.
• Previous experience of paid social and PPC
• Creative, adaptable, and passionate about staying updated on social media trends.
