Social Media Manager - B2C

My client, a large consumer brand is now recruiting a Social Media Manager to join their fast paced, dynamic marketing team based in Cheshire. You must have experience of implementing social media strategies across social channels, with some digital marketing knowledge. Whilst working in a consumer durable, retail or agency environment. 

Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for executing the global social strategy across all digital and social media communication platforms across all consumer channels, both organic and paid, with metrics to demonstrate return on investment
Managing social media strategy for 4 regions across uk and international
Responsible for the global strategy communication and deployment to all consumer geographies and to work closely with local teams to ensure; effective campaign delivery and proper use of globally developed assets
Responsible for working closely with strategic partners in agreeing upon digital and social media strategy for the brands 
Managing digital campaigns across uk and globally using mailchimp
Adhering to brand guidelines for each region 
Writing social media content for all channels uk and globally 
Responsibility for representing the global consumer brand portfolio, including our strategic partnership brands across social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest and YouTube ensuring flawless execution of response times and delivering content in an authentic brand voice
Lead local markets and their agencies in best-in-class management of consumer services / inquiries through web and social
Where applicable manage / support management of creative and media agencies in the development and deployment of content and through the line campaigns
Develop global KPI measurement and reporting structure, timely management reporting of performance across all social channels including channel growth, community size, impressions, engagement, traffic and sales conversion, making recommendations etc
Responsible for the implementation, activation and management of the above global strategy 
Analysing the market, looking at trends and competitors 
Responsibilities may include managing one or several employees in the near future

Skills Required:
Must have extensive social media experience, managing a brand’s social media presence, strategy and content at an agency or consumer brand
Some digital marketing experience would be desirable
Fluency in and experience of representing consumer brands across social media platforms and in delivering successful organic and social paid advertising campaigns across Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube ad platforms with metrics to demonstrate return on investment
Experience of using mailchimp, hootsuite, sharepoint and other systems - desirable 
Strong knowledge of social media trends, platforms, online tracking and monitoring tools and with experience of reporting on social media analytics
Creative thinker with experience of managing large-scale programs and projects and a track record of implementing new ideas and programs
Experience of working with creative and media agencies in the development and deployment of content and through the line campaigns
Extreme passion for social media, content and community building
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Must be a team player who can be accountable and flexible and work cross-functionally
Possess a sense of humor and ability to work in fast-paced environment
Company Benefits:
Salary up to £35k + Bonus
Hours - 8.30am-5pm (can be flexible)
