Main Purpose and Scope of the Job:
Grow our clients’ revenues and/or achieve client’s digital marketing objectives.

Reports To:
Head of Digital Marketing

Duties and Key Responsibilities:

We're looking for a talented Social Media Executive to join our expanding Digital Marketing team here at The Pull Agency based in Guildford. You must have at least two years’ experience managing social media accounts and paid social campaigns for this position. This role would suit a process driven, creative thinker with a focus on the end user.

We work with clients in all types of industries such as health and beauty, technology, events and education. Our clients social accounts range from national to international markets, so experience working with very large social accounts would be advantageous.

The role of the Social Media Executive is to support the overflow of work within our digital marketing team. You will need to execute and optimise social marketing campaigns for both national and international clients as well managing existing and new clients’ social media accounts. This will mean creating social calendars, posting, scheduling and responding. You will also be responsible for ad copy, implementation of campaigns and optimising throughout the campaign running length. We’re keen to develop our employees at Pull, so you will be given training and support throughout your career with us.

You should be an inquisitive individual that has a desire to test and analyse new campaigns, e.g. remarketing, lead generation campaigns, split tests, InMails etc
You will be expected to produce reports for both the Head of Digital Marketing and the client which will include recommendations on any changes you feel are necessary in the campaigns. This could include how the budget should be split, recommending new advertising campaigns, switching the campaign focus from social to AdWords, or looking into brand new digital marketing channels.

For the interview, please be prepared to show some of the accounts you manage on social media or bring along any results from campaigns you have run.

Required Skills and Expertise:

The Social Media Executive must have a minimum 2 years’ experience in the following skills:

  • Social media management
  • Social media tools, such as Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Falcon etc
  • Paid social advertising
  • Copywriting
  • Google Analytics
  • Excel, PowerPoint, Word plus other Microsoft Office programmes
  • Highly analytical and results driven
  • Remarketing and Retargeting

Shalford Surrey - Transport Links

Pull are based in Shalford, Surrey, immediately South of Guildford. It has a railway station which is between Guildford and Dorking on the Reading to Gatwick Airport line and is just 10 minutes from the A3, 20 minutes from the M25.
