VASHI is seeking a multi-faceted social media and brand editor ready to take the next step in their career by bringing interdisciplinary experience to this exciting role. The ideal candidate will be innovative, creative, organised and proactive with a love of copywriting and social media strategy. The Social Media & Brand Editor will be an integral part of the VASHI brand, marketing & communications team. Working closely with the Senior Brand & Communications Manager and the Creative Content Producer, the Social Media & Brand Editor is responsible for creating and managing the development and implementation of the company’s social media strategy and contributing to in-house brand copywriting.



  • Manage the development of the social media strategy, in line with short-term and long-term targets

? Manage the project budget and the timelines to deliver the social content plan

? Secure right involvement of senior stakeholders in the formulation of the strategy and in the implementation of the Social Media content plan

? Monitor progress using social media analytics

? Build relationships with relevant stakeholders whilst assisting and providing creative ideas on social media strategies

? Support the business with new social initiatives

? Identify and communicate trends through social media i.e. campaigns and events


  • Responsibility for social media calendar management

? Brainstorm standalone social media campaigns and storytelling content as well as larger ones supporting online brand awareness and sales

? Ensure all social content across all platforms reflects the aims and values of the brand


  • Create and publish engaging content to raise brand awareness, strengthen and clarify positioning and increase engagement and followership

? Identify and communicate trends through social media i.e. campaigns and events

? Answer directly to social media inquiries

? Assist in the management of global social communities, including brand campaign deployment


  • Assist in the management of social media content creation, including briefing of assets and formats for social (ie animations or cropping imagery) with the Creative Content Producer

? Assist in the creation of unique and engaging social and marketing/editorial content

? Work closely with the Creative Content Producer to monitor and track the engagement of social media content, evolving as need be for better results


  • Copywriting for all social media, and assisting with all copywriting across the brand as needed

? Liaise with any other content writers to ensure brand consistency

? Coordinate with marketing on relevant messaging for social communities

? All while adhering to the company's voice and brand guidelines.


  • Excellent written English; effective at copywriting in different styles and lengths.
  • Familiarity with Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, Pinterest and social media analytics
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, relationship-building and influencing skills, with the ability to articulate messages clearly and with impact
  • Meticulous planner, experienced in prioritising and juggling multiple projects at the same time.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to keep stakeholders informed and on side.
  • Ability to think through problems to find appropriate solutions.
  • Knowledge of integrated marketing campaigns delivered across PR, social, digital marketing, partner marketing, and internal communications.
  • Results-oriented with the ability to think strategically and turn insights into initiatives.
  • Ability to work autonomously and build a channel up from inception.
  • Obsessive attention to detail and naturally organised.
  • A proven ability to work quickly and efficiently with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ambitious, hardworking and with an impeccable work ethic


  • Premium experience in fashion/jewellery/retail/e-commerce.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign)
  • Graphic design, photography and/or video production background
