Social Media & Content Specialist
Location : Farnham
My client who are based in Farnham are looking for a Social Media and Content Specialist to join their team. We are looking for candidates who have got a strong marketing and ecommerce background. This role is responsible for developing, owning and delivering my clients social media and content strategy, developing our social media platforms and working with all colleagues to improve our presence online.
The role requires a creative and enthusiastic individual who has excellent storytelling and copywriting skills; a passion for driving customer acquisition, loyalty, conversion and brand equity.
This role will require a pro-active and hands-on approach, with collaborative working with a number of departments and key business stakeholders across the business.
Work with Head of Marketing to create and develop an overarching social media strategy with commercial objectives to reach lead generation target
Develop social media channels with techniques to engage our audiences, increase brand awareness and build an engaged community of followers
Collate, develop, coordinate, distribute and promote a cohesive and high-quality suite of on and off-line content to generate an increased volume of quality leads, and to drive
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
At least 3 years relevant experience with a strong background in managing social media campaigns and digital content
Ability to demonstrate a proven track record in creative and original content writing across both online and offline channels
Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills; ability to convey excitement and passion in everything you do with demonstrable experience of writing content in line with SEO
Practical experience of using social media management systems
Highly organised and proactive with a hands-on approach and collaborative working style; self-starter with ability to plan, prioritise and adapt to changing requirements
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
Entrepreneurial spirit and desire to work in a high-growth, fast paced and dynamic environment
Analytical and data-driven mind-set - ability to use numbers and statistics to make decisions
Familiar with evaluating emerging technologies and keeping up to date with the latest social trends and best practices

Hours of Work
Hours: 8.30am - 5.30pm with 1 hour for lunch (Mon-Thurs) and 8.30am - 5.00pm with 30 minutes for lunch (Fri)
