What you will be doing
As Sovereigns Social & Content Executive, you will be working closely with the Marketing Manager, driving content creation across both print and digital. This role will see you take ownership and drive both the social media channels and blog site. You’ll be expected to create engaging blog and social media content, exciting new SEO optimised content for the website, inspiring advertising copy & editorial style content for our glossy annual magazine.
Responsibilities include the creation of social media strategy, devising content calendars and scheduling content across platforms. There is a balance between the requirement to implement daily digital content plans, provide analysis and report on content performance across various channels, and propose new and exciting opportunities to develop and engage with the digital community.
You will sit within the Sovereign Marketing team, at the heart of all marketing activity, ensuring that as a team, all published content across chosen marketing channels is cohesive and effectively scheduled. You will have the opportunity to work together with our SEO specialist to both develop your learnings and ensure content plans meet expectations across the business. What we’re looking for
With a largely autonomous role, you’ll be proactive and highly motivated with exceptional writing skills and most importantly, proven experience across social channels.
- Degree level graduate
- 1+ years previous experience within a social media content production role
- Experience of travel industry is a positive, but not essential
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills
- Able to work towards tight deadlines
- Ability to work independently
- Proofreading and editing skills
