£46,000 - £54,000 (Remote working and flexible working hours)

My client is a local government body responsible for the transport system in Greater London and they are looking for a Snr Business Analyst (remote working 2 days a week available)

You will have the option of being based at either the London or Hastings office. They will encourage remote working, with a minimum of 40% of your week being office based. Whichever location you choose, regular-usually weekly-travel to the other office is required.

They are seeking applications from experienced business analysts with sound digital understanding and a history of successful, agile delivery to join their Digital Centre of Excellence.

As a Senior Business Analyst within the department`s Digital Service it will be your responsibility to work with the business to identify and analyse complex problems that may impact the successful adoption of digital services. You will need strong leadership skills to manage a team of business analysts as well as develop the business analysis profession with Digital Service.

Working across the Groups you will participate in all stages of the agile project delivery lifecycle, translating user needs to agree detailed functional and technical specifications and plans for new services. You will need to have excellent communication skills to articulate complex and technical concepts to a range of audiences. You will also have strong influential skills as you seek to build successful and effective stakeholder relationships and work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

Role Profile

Take full responsibility for business analysis within their Digital Service, solving problems and making decisions that will have a measurable impact on the effectiveness of the business.

Capture and understand business needs, gathering and analysing data to feed into the user centric designs for new tools and services, taking into account the implications of change on the organisation and all stakeholders

Build and manage a team of business analysis who will work with both business and technical personnel, will work with digital business partners and will be allocated to specific delivery projects

You are highly organised with the ability to effectively manage multiple work streams at the same time. You understand the needs of your customers and have the ability to align your work to the needs of the business you serve. You are confident in your recommendations and though you understand the importance of building good relationships, you are prepared to back yourself and your recommendations if required. Delivery focussed, you are not negatively impacted by setbacks and you are a real problem solver.
