Our client is seeking an Insurance Professional to join their team based in West Birmingham as an account Handler, to assist in the transaction of of commercial business and ensure that all existing and new customers receive a professional and high standard of customer service at all times, whilst achieving targets as agreed with the Line Manager.
Managing your own portfolio of clients from new business, MTA's & renewals.
Build strong relationships with clients.
Understand all their general insurance requirements.
Deal with various premium sizes.
Liaise with insurers to find the best deal for your client.
Present the options back to your client and close the deal.
You will need to have a general insurance background ideally encompassing SME Insurance or Motor Trade experience.
You will be able to work in a fast paced environment and have good organisational skills and the ability to provide quality work and sound judgement in character.
You will be working with insurance companies and clients and as such relationship building skills and the ability to negotiate are essential to this role.
