South Lanarkshire Health & Social Care Partnership are looking to recruit an experienced Social Worker for an exciting new opportunity to work within the Community Addiction Recovery Services in Clydesdale in South Lanarkshire.
The main duties of the post are:
- To assess the needs of service users and their families and deliver appropriate evidence based interventions to support those needs.
- To ensure that public protection thresholds are assessed and take the lead in any child or adult protection cases within the CAReS team.
- to work closely with the CAReS Team Leader and contribute to the integration of NHS Lanarkshire and South Lanarkshire Council’s alcohol and drug services within Clydesdale
The successful candidate must hold a degree level qualification in Social Work and, where appropriate, be registered with an appropriate professional body. Direct experience of working with this service user group is also a requirement of this post.
