Who will I be working with?

Héroux-Devtek is an international company specialising in the design, development, manufacture, integration, testing and repair and overhaul of landing gear and actuation systems and components for the Aerospace market. What will this role of Skilled Assembly Technician(Aerospace Filtration and Hydraulic Assemblies)entail?

Reporting to the Production Supervisor and working within a team of dedicated and quality focused Technician’s, you’ll be responsible for assembling, testing and stripping both simple and complex hydraulic units and Filtration Elements. You will also conduct efficient inspections and fault-finding investigations.

What will I need to be considered for this Skilled Assembly Technician (Aerospace Filtration and Hydraulic Assemblies) role?

  • Be a time served Technician, with experience of building, testing and stripping both simple and complex hydraulic units
  • Experience of assembling Aerospace Filtration Products
  • Ability to interpret complex drawings and operation sheets
  • Superb knowledge of measurement equipment (Vernier’s, micrometres etc.)
  • Experience of working to documentation within a quality / regulatory controlled environment
  • Superb fault-finding skills
  • Methodical and meticulous, with a high level of attention to detail
  • Team player with a flexible and proactive can-do attitude
  • Ability to work unsupervised using own initiative

Although not essential, knowledge of basic machining (Turning / Bench fitting) is highly desired.

Salary: Attractive salary, level dependent on experience and qualifications

Hours of work: 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday, and 8am to 2pm Friday

Contract type: Permanent

Location: Bolton (Greater Manchester)
