Site Service Engineer
Circa £26-31k + overtime + benefits

Omega Resource are currently recruiting for a Site Service Engineer for our client, a bespoke machinery manufacturer, based in Shropshire. Although the role is a UK and overseas based service role the ideal candidate will be a commutable distance from the clients' headquarters.

The successful candidate will undertake the fitting, installation, repair and service on machinery and equipment of the company products i.e. conveyors, hydro equipment, lighting, and lifting & tipping equipment, both at customer's sites in the UK and Worldwide, as well as at the company premises in Shropshire.

The role is based on a 40 hour basic week Monday - Sunday (depending on job location etc.) Weekend and evening work as required, including overnight stays and early starts. Overtime is paid and is as and when required according to workload.
There will be the requirement to travel around the UK and Worldwide.

Key Duties:
*Site installation
*Service and repair of machinery and equipment on customer sites, UK and Worldwide
*Fitting, wiring and assembly of products
*Fault finding
*Liaising with customers

Formal Engineering Qualifications and the 17th Edition is essential for the position, along with a full clean driving licence and current passport.
We require the applicant to be an excellent problem solver, with fault finding skills, and the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Ideally we are looking for candidates with the following experience:
*Experience of electrical wiring and fault finding
*Experience of assembling and installing finished products
*Experience of working to tight schedules
*Experience of working as a team
