We now have a new requirement for a Site Reliability Engineer to help transform our innovative delivery through; Linux, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Puppet, Ansible, Python, Bash.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

Working with perhaps one of the most technical forward-thinking companies in the North, we are looking for a talented and technical Site Reliability Engineer with; Linux, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Puppet, Ansible, Python, Bash to join our growing team. In a fast-moving environment, you must be flexible and adaptable, excited by new ideas and/or technology and willing to pick up and work with new initiatives no matter how unfamiliar. We are seeking someone who is hands-on and thrives in an empowered working environment with minimal supervision. The role will involve enhancing functional and technical monitoring, automating processes, dealing with issues and queries, managing incidents, liaising with development teams and investigating and fixing production errors and outages.

YOU NEED TO HAVE…

  • LINUX / AWS / DOCKER / KUBERNETES / PUPPET / ANSIBLE / PYTHON / BASH
  • Ability to identify opportunities to influence the roadmap of infrastructure services
  • Configuration management / automation systems
  • Experience working on large scalable enterprise projects

IT IS NICE TO HAVE…

  • Experience within an Agile environment
  • A pragmatic and inventive attitude to technology and service
  • excellent logical thinking and problem-solving skills
