Our client is a leading steelwork fabricator and construction company fabricating and erecting structural steelwork throughout the UK. They also undertake Main Contractor projects directly including Industrial and Agricultural projects. Due to continuous expansion, they are seeking a Site Manager to work on up and coming projects throughout the UK. General duties will include the following:
Ensuring project target dates and critical path are maintained;
Taking ownership of agreed construction programmes;
Timely production of accurate reports;
Monitoring of work flows, staff resources, plant, materials, etc;
Liaison with other contractors;
Accurate record keeping of quality control documents;
Monitoring H & S;
Ad hoc duties as required.
It is anticipated that the successful candidate will have at least three years' experience of project management as well as a CSCS card at Site Manager level. Additionally, you should hold a valid First Aid at Work Certificate and SMSTS Training Certificate.
Our client offers a competitive salary DOE but you must be willing to travel to sites throughout the UK and stay away from home when required.
