Due to business growth a leading Chemical production facility in the west midlands is now looking to appoint a site manager to look after the facility and ensure its smooth running.
As the site manager you will be responsible for all aspects of a chemical production facility, you will also be responsible for ensuring that the produced products are stored and distributed in a safe and compliant manner. You will have access and influence over the local P&L so a good financial understanding is needed as well as being able to motivate staff as you will be responsible for the admin and warehouse staff.
To be considered for the role you will be ideally educated to degree level in a chemical subject and will have previous experience of running a looking after chemical manufacturing site or a warehouse that stores & distributes chemicals. A NEBOSH certificate or similar Occ' Health & Safety qualification is needed for this role. Ideally you will have been in a supervisory or management position previously within a technical production/warehousing environment.
If successful in your application you can expect a salary of up to £35,000/annum dependent upon experience.
