They own and operate anaerobic digestion (AD) plants, recycling food waste to generate renewable electricity for the grid and a valuable fertiliser for farmland. They provide food waste treatment services to local authorities in England and Wales and to major supermarkets, food manufacturers, pubs and restaurants.

Salary: Circa £45k per annum, plus allowance, overtime and bonus. Salary is dependent on previous experience & qualifications
About the role:
They are currently seeking a self-motivated and pro-active Site Manager to manage & take responsibility for the whole site operation at the Merevale (AD) plant, near Atherstone. You will be responsible for the highest safety and environmental standards, and ensuring the site operates to maximise a cost effective and efficient output whilst continuously improving safety, health, environmental, operational standards and systems, and managing control of change procedures.
You will have management, development and training responsibility for the whole site, including recruitment and staff appraisals. This role will include managing digestate stock levels and quality, the intake, sorting and loading operation of feedstock supply and managing planned site maintenance.
They are looking for an experienced people manager, who possesses excellent process engineering skills; you will ideally also have mechanical or electrical engineer skills and qualifications. You will be an excellent and accurate record keeper, providing regular reporting to the senior team on the plant’s performance. Training will be provided to complete a WAMITAB certificate of technical competency, a NEBOSH general certificate, and a fork lift truck license, if these are not already held. You must have a full driving licence. The role will involve working weekends on a rota basis, call out and remote monitoring of the AD Process.
