Site Engineer

Are you a PTS Site Engineer looking to start immediately?

Our client, a leading rail contractor has a great opportunity for a Site Engineer to start immediately In the Bristol area, competitive day rate offered!

Reporting to the Project Section Engineer you the PTS Site Engineer will be responsible to carry out, lead and manage site survey and Setting-out requirements using Totalstation, GPS / EDM equipment. You will not need to supply your own equipment for this position, just your knowledge and abilities.

The appointed PTS Site Engineer will need to possess the following:

  • Strong Setting-out and site survey experience / skills, able to accurately operate Totalstation, Leica and GPS (TS15/16) and EDM
  • Experience of setting-out for rail civil installations; Piling, Bases and Foundations, Ancillary works, Rail Civil and Build construction
  • Ability to effectively read and interoperate technical drawings and produce creditable and accurate reports on a daily basis
  • Will possesses a strong working application of UK Rail Engineering, Policies and Procedures and a PTS
