Site Agent - Civil / Highway - 9 Month Contract

Your new company
A multi discipline major UK Contractor, have a vacancy within their "New Business" Venture. This venture is focused on Highway construction projects as opposed to their major highway maintenance contracts, this has been a great success and they are one of two contractors on a £30 mil Framework for Birmingham Cycle Routes. They have been awarded phase 1 which is £6.5 mil worth of work. They also have slip road construction, junction realignment , and pinch point small work schemes.

Your new role

You will be managing highwayschemes autonomously reporting in to their Construction Manager , most of the sites are sub-contracted out , so strong sub-contractor management is essential , as well as being able to read from construction drawings.

They also have roles for small works managers looking after 5- 10 schemes simultaneously between the value of 5k - 500k

What you'll need to succeed

Proven Civil / Highway construction management experience.
