I am looking for an experienced Site Agent to work on a major civils project in central London. This position is working on a market leading tier 1 contractor and will continue for 10 months with potential of extension. The selected candidate will have previous experience working on major civils projects and will have previously worked with a Tier 1 Contractor.
Roles and responsibilities:
.Manage, supervise and mentor section, site and assistant engineers to ensure high levels of engineering control and generation of appropriate records
.Liaising with clients, subcontractors and the design team
.Prepare progress reports and technical reports for clients and for internal use
.Review regularly the performance, development and training needs of subordinate staff, including underperformance or potential resignations.
.Any other job specific requirements.
- Degree qualifies in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Experience working with a recognised tier 1 contractor
- Excellent communication and organisation skills
- A valid CSCS card
- Experience working on major civils projects, in particular experience working on a major station.
