I have recently taken on a role for a leading wealth planning consultancy who are looking for someone with previous experience within the industry to join their leading and influential department. This role is for a SIPP/SASS Department Manager where you will be expected tomanage a team of around 30 people.
You will be expected to develop strong relationships both internally; across the business and externally; with investors and advisers. You will also deliver management and development of the administration team whilst monitoring effectiveness of processes to company standard.
You will be accountable for the achievement of the department business objectives as well as contributing on development plans. You will be expected to coach and train staff at all levels and be responsible for resource and succession planning including recruitment. You should be able to deliver the required results with product, process and service in terms of timing, cost and quality. You will be responsible for the delivery of KPI and MI reporting requirements as directed by the Senior Management team and to own and resolve Investor and team member problems and issues escalated from Team Managers.
To be successful within this role you must have excellent knowledge of the SIPP/SSAS market as well as proven administrative, leadership and management ability. You must be able to analyse and interpret complex information and produce clear and concise reports and have broad business experience in the financial sector.
