The Company: To be based from my client’s Leeds city centre site I am on the look-out for a financial services industry experienced SIPP Administrator to join their expanding team of specialist pensions support staff. The firm themselves are a highly successful, global financial services firm who currently hold over £200bn FUM and service the UK, European and Australasian markets With over 100 people currently working across their back-office teams now supporting advisers in the North of England, it is an exciting opportunity for a pensions professional who wants to work in a busy, challenging support function for a genuine market leader within the financial services industry.
The Role: The role itself will sit within their specialist SIPP team of 18 and your remit will look to ensure that relevant SIPP schemes are administered processed in an accurate, compliant and efficient manner. The firm work extensively in the areas of Retirement Planning, SIPPs and Inheritance Tax Planning so there is a distinct bias towards this side of advice across the group and with around 250 SIPP schemes and a typical portfolio average of around £500k you will provide cradle to grave SIPP administration on a specialist basis. Duties and responsibilities include calculating pension benefits, preparing relevant documentation, dealing with all internal/external queries and maintain all data records in accordance with FCA regulation.
The Person: Applicants must have detailed knowledge of Pensions with a strong emphasis on SIPPs if possible, although this isn’t a necessity as relevant industry experience of administering business across any pensions work would be looked upon favourably. Candidates will ideally be FPC qualified (QCF level 3), but again this isn’t essential as a training package will be put in place for the right person. My client is keen to encourage applications from anyone working within administration for private wealth, IFA or wealth management firms and indeed anyone with a DB/DC pensions background who is interested in a more specialised 'SIPP’ role/remit.
